windows vista Code 80244019

hi i'm new to this site and i need some help if some one can help m
that would be great i am running windows vista and i am tring to updat
windows and i get a errer code 80244019. i ran malwarebytes anti-malwar
it showed that i had Registry Data that was infected. it said tha
removed and to restart my pc i did so and when i try to get back on-lin
i have to repair the connerction which still will not let me downloa
the update

try removing your Anti Virus software follow up with their debris removal
tool then try your updates after updates are installed re-install your anti
virus software.

i am running norton internet and i did just that i uninstalled it an
reinstalled it and also ran malwar

Hi, I have had the same problem for a few days now, couldn't do a
windows update and also my searches were taking me to pages I didn't
even click on, or I kept getting a message, page not found. I looked up
a number of other peoples problems with this error code 80244019 and
some said that it was the DNSchanging Trojan. I ran Norton and Adaware
but still no luck eventually my husband downloaded Trojan Remover and
ran it. Restarted computer and Hey Presto problem solved, I did have the
virus and it detected it and destroyed it. I have now done a Windows
update and now have Explorer8 also. I hope this helps if you are still
having the problems or maybe it will help others.
