Windows Vista error Code C015001A

Ok I just got windows vista and whenever I try to update it gives me an error
code. "To check for updates, you must first install an update for Windows
Update..." So I click to install it, but it never installs and gives me this
error code.
"Code C015001A"

Your help will be greatly appreciated by me :]

I have the same error, and I see it has arisen in other threads, most
recently on August 12, with no fixes suggested yet.

Please, has anyone got any ideas?

Good afternoon to all.

I have the same prob from 3 days ago, when the update started. It's
something related with microsoft.NET Framework

I tried to update with no antivirus, no firewall...but not lucky at
all....and still with the same error, which cause malfunction on other
programs (skype and limewire) that even do not connect or finish to open.

....if someone have news about it, please release it!
