Hi,

Is there any way to change the windows vista file manager to look a
bit more like the XP version. I still want to retain the basic look
of vista, but with a folder tree and a real path like "C:\program
files..." in the address bar.

Thanks

You can try the available options under Organize > Folder & Search Options >
General (tab)

As for the new breadcrumb menu address bar, try the following tip:

Installing some paid-for rubbish software is NOT the answer.
Regards Mike.

To make a statement that it is ' rubbish software ' implies that you
have used this program and found it defective in some way.

Please detail why you think it is rubbish.

Have you written a file manager program that is superior ?
Post a link here if you have.

I'll call it rubbish too.

Why is it rubbish?

There are multiple free File Managers and Explorer clones.

Explorer comes free with Windows. Why not recommend one of the other free
file managers?

click on the address bar and you'll have the real path, you can type a new
