I have no idea what games "my games" refers to.
That said--

There have been a heck of a lot of speed related complaints concerning Vista
that were fixed by the service pack and updated Video drivers. Running
Vista in classic mode may help. Reducing non essential background services
and programs will help.
If at all possible, for off line games, disable programs such as Norton.

Finally, you may find that specific video settings make an improvement.
These are closely tied to the video card/chip that is in your system.

For specific help, you should identify your hardware, such as make and model
of your video card. Sound chip/card,
The game(s), etc.

Many of the major games have web sites that are dedicated to them, and will
usually have advice, patches, etc.

For example, Crysis ran very poorly on an HP (Vista) "Multimedia" laptop I
purchased late last fall.
A combination of classic mode (Non Aero), Vista patches & SP 1, along with
updated Nvidia drivers (from HP)
really made a difference for the better.

What are your current PC specs? By slow motion do you mean low frame rates?

yes, for example if you want to move one card to the other deck of cards like
in solitaire it will move but veeeeery slow .

Well, if you aren't going to list your system specs then I can't do too
much to help. What you describe could well be your vieo card or the video
drivers causing it.

I'll join the chorus of replies:

It sounds like a performance issue, but it's first time I've heard anyone
use the term "run in slow motion".

To help further can you please supply some more information, specifically
the following:

1) the name of the games you have trouble with
2) the minimum specs for (each of) those games
3) the specs of your computer.

In terms of hardware, performance would always be boosted by more RAM or
larger hard drive (possibly) or more powerful video card (in terms of
processing capability and video-RAM) rather than feeding off Main Memory as
"video ram" as many laptops do.

Given that Vista runs better on high-end machines, I'd have thought your PC
would be fairly powerful to begin with e.g. fast PIV or Core2 duo or
AMD/Athlon etc.

In the mean time you could do a bit of routine maintenance such as:

Clearing out all temp files
Defrag Hard Drive
Do a virus/malware/spyware scan

In any case the above certainly won't hurt the system.

The games I am describing are the ones that come with window vista . I have
no problems with any other web games. My notebook HP is "Duo" .
the only question I do not understand is that you are asking for "specs" but
if you clarify that for me then I could give you some fuller information.
Please forgive but I have learned all this by myself during 14 years and
there are still techenical things I do not understand.Thank you for your
patience .

By specs they mean what make is the computer, how much RAM does it have
installed what video card do you have or is it onboard graphics what is
the processor, is it AMD or Intel.
What version of Vista are you running and is it 32 bit or 64 bit.

Hope that makes it a little clearer for you and gives you a better idea
of what they are asking

If he is getting slow motion in a lousy windows card game then it is more
than a performance issue. Either he is just trolling us or he has a
hardware or driver issue.
