Has anyone figured out why that discussion group will not let you sign in.
Seems as athough some people can and some people can't. I had always been
able to until a couple of days ago.

Curious - what "Windows Vista general discussion" groups?

As mansrm81 alluded - many forums/groups requires "registration" to
participate other than only reading postings.

Set up your newsreader in Vista which would be Windows Mail to access the MS newsgroups and you will never need to sign in

This one probably.

This isn't a web forum, this is a newsgroup. Some websites pull the posts
from the newsgroup as a way to bundle ads alongside it.
