Windows Vista Home Basic

hi i am going to bye windows vista home basic because i have 512 MB of RAM
and i have windows xp home and i am scared that windows vista home basic
wont install on my computer and it will go on dos like Installing Win 2000
pro way and i
used the upgrade adviser and it said that windows vista home basic will run
on my computer can someone tell me how to install it and tell me if the setup
will go ON this screen -

P.S my Windows xp home ed is in-bilut

Hi,

Installing the upgrade is easy. Start WinXP, insert the Vista upgrade DVD.
Follow the steps. No floppy is necessary, nor do you need to boot the system
from the installation disk. As with any upgrade, you should backup any
important data to removable media before beginning.

pictorial view makes the general upgrade process less daunting.
