WINDOWS VISTA HOME BASIC UPDAT PROBLEM

Hello, for days now I keep getting prompted to download one important update.
its Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2
(KB936181)
I click install and it does and says installed correctly, and minutes later
it asks again. this is over and over I have installed this update. What is
going on its driving me crazy. Please help me.
