Following several failed attempts SP1 was successfully installed onto my
system.
On checking through the 'Control Panel' it was found that the warning
"Windows Host Process (RUNDLL32) has stopped working" was displayed.
The affected icons were ...
Internet Options; Phone and Modem; People Near Me; Pen and Input Devices;
Nvidia Control Panel; Mouse; Keyboard; Program
Updates; Tealtek HD Audio Manager; Regional and Language Options; Security
Centre; Sound; Tablet PC Settings; Taskbar and Start Menu;
Text to Speech.
I have tried to alter DEP for RUNDLL32.exe and it made no difference.
Request assistance.
Thanks, in anticipation
