After a month of playing with my new Windows vista which I activated online,
I started getting a pop-up windows from Microsoft for another validation of
license. So I tried activating it and it kept saying that my copy of of
Windows vista was not a legitimate copy. Mind you that I bought this Windows
Vista Home Premium from Best Buy and I was able to validate it online. And
to make the matter more aggravating, I called Microsoft to re-activate my
license and I was told that the system was down and I had to call back in
half an hour.
When you're trying to play by the rule and purchasing I thought would be a
legitimate copy of Microsoft Vista (I truly hope that BestBuy does not sell
pirated copy of any software), this is very aggravating to say the least. To
add insult to the injury, I was dumb enough to fll out the MIcrosoft survey
and it was basically an survey to teach me how to get a legitimate copy of
Windows Vista. Well, if I can't trust BestBuy to provide me with a genuine
copy of Windows, I don't know where else to buy a legitimate copy of Windows
software.
So my question then is what else do I need to do to resolve this problem? I
did not add a new hardware nor did I install anything that would invalidate
my windows vista. Bear in mind that I had been using vista for more than a
month now and now microsoft was basically calling me a thief......
