Windows Vista more money ???

Hello i buy notebook with vista, and return to windows XP, the true is
many many softwre and hardware are not compatible with vista.

If i buyed legal software and hardware why i have buy newly
software ???

it is an abuse and irespect by MicroSoft, only for get more money with
bad desing and lies about that i have upgrade to vista for the new
software and games run well, simply money.

Did Microsoft write the programs you have to buy?
All of my Microsoft programs work fine.
It's third party apps that don't work.
Blame them not Microsoft!

Do you old DOS apps work in XP (some of them!!)
Same thing!!

What really sucks is my $9,000 CAD program that won't
work in VISTA. But it will run in VPC 2007 so I can still use it.

every release of a new OS is the same thing...

the problem is with microsoft or with the users, that never realize it?

Do you know why it will run in the virtual Vista machine and not in Vista?

What CAD program are you using? I use ArchiCAD, AutoCAD (yuck) and 3ds max
(actually ViZ), and I would never run them in a virtual machine as they
would slow down incredibly on the virtual hardware. The VirtualPC virtual
graphics card is very basic, and obviously has no hardware OpenGL
acceleration, so only the very simplest of models can be worked on
effectively.

He's most probably got XP installed on the virtual machine.

You did not buy a computer with Windows XP.

Why should you get more than one operating system?
