WINDOWS VISTA-- New Updates Are Available

Can someone tell me how to remove the updates that are listed in the "NEW
UPDATE" list if they do not pertain to my operating system so that every time
I log in I do not get a message that "New Updates are Available". I
constantly check to see what the new updates are and they are the same
updates that I did not download the previous time because they did not
pertain to me. Thank you for your help in advance, it is appreciated. : )


Perhaps Microsoft can work on fixing this problem by allowing us to save the
updates that we do not wish to download in an archive.

Right-click on the update to select hiding it.
