"will not allow" and 'won't let me do" simply can mean too many things. If
Vista were not managing files it would not run at all.
Permissions are based on 'ownership' of both source and destination. You
should examine both to see what is there.

It could be an ownership/permissions problem, or you may be trying to copy
to a junction point, rather than a folder. What's the name of the folder?

Please help us to help you. From *what* folder? To *what* folder? What
does "won't let me" mean? What happens when you try? If you get an
error message, please quote it verbatim.
