Before you go chasing around in a lot of different directions, find out what
is causing the blue screen. What is the text of the failure? Any
notifications in event viewer? When the reboot occurs Windows should be
notifying you of the improper shutdown. What is the text of that
notification?
If you are unable to get the blue screen text before the reboot, on the
advanced tab of system properties click the settings button for startup and
recovery and uncheck the automatically restart box. Now duplicate the error
and report back or deal with the offending device/driver.
