windows vista will not work at all

I just got a new laptop, recently windows loads but does not start up. I have
tried safe mode, and last safe start up and have got nothing. I have tried
the sindoews repair from the vista disk and it says there is a problem with
my startup and i click ok to repair and restart and nothing happened the
screen went blue and just a curser. I tried again and now it is checking my
system for problems, and attempting disk errors, the last time it said this I
left it running for over 24 hours, and still the same problem. While it is
attemtpting the repairs, the computer has no idication that it is even doing
anything no lights and no noises....what should i do next?

Return the laptop for repair or replacement.
