Good Question!

I pondered the same thing about the "Textured" one from XP as well. I just
went to the Windows\System32 directory on an XP machine and copied the
desired .scr file to a thumb drive.

On the Vista machine you go to Windows\System32 as well and just paste it in
that directory. On the file after you paste it, right click and click on
Install (should be at the top).. That should be it. Enjoy!

Please help. I read Chris's reply to Mutt about copying the marquee
screen saver from XP to Vista but it is waaaay over my head. Can you
explain in layman's language for me? I have a Vista laptop and my
boyfriend has a PC with XP so I have both here to copy but I am not sure
how to do it. I would really like to have my marquee screen saver. I am
not sure why Vista doesn't have it in there. Thanks so
much. CBL

Hi,

On your boyfriends XP computer go to start>My
Computer>C>Windows>System32. find the file Marquee.scr. Copy the file to
a thumb drive or a CD. Then Place the CD in your Vista computer and copy
it to Your System32 folder.

Once this has been completed right click on marquee.scr that you just
copied to your vista computer and scroll up untill you find "install"
click on install and it should install that file to your vista
computer.

If you are networked together you should be able to copy the marquee
file from your boyfriends computer to your then move it to you system32
folder and install.

I hope this helped clarify things.
