You need to contact the maker of the notebook. They will probably sell you a
CD of the setup files. Another copy of Vista won't work with your product
key on the back.

As long as you have the certificate and the serial number the ther should be
no problem. Windows is registered to the PC or Laptop.

No. Look in your manual for your restore information.

wrong... another cd of the same type can be used with your product key.

for example retail or oem

but my guess is that your laptop has a hidden partition with vista there for
you to recover the installation.

Your notebook should have come with either a recovery DVD or it should have
a hidden partition with an image of the operating system stored on it. Both
of these options are there so that you can restore the PC 'back to factory
conditions' should any problem arise.

Check the user manual that came with the notebook to see what procedure is
used for restoring the PC back to factory conditions. You may find that you
have to hit a certain key combination during boot up to allow you to get to
the restore to factory conditions menu.

if the version of your windows is oem then you have to ask for a replacement
cd from the company you bought it from

torrent yes, but can you trust that source? the torrents are unofficial,
from pirates and users sharing stuff without a license to do that

If you have a problem because you have deleted the image partition then
contact the manufacturer of your PC to see if they can provide a recovery
DVD. Do Not use download Vista from any bit torrent or ftp site as these are
usually pirated copies and you will be storing up whole lot more trouble
for yourself. You have a PC that has a perfectly legal copy of Vita
installed so stay legal and contact the PC manufacturer.

I downloaded Vista business upgrade from Microsoft Website, using the digital
locker. I has been working fine but noticed now that I am now getting bad
blocks on the harddrive. I brought a second harddrive and wanted to backup
my whole computer, so I did a complete computer backup. I rebootd the system
and can not find the computer recovery enviroment on the options page.
