Windows Vista service pack 2 for x64-based Systems (KB948465)

Windows Vista service pack 2 for x64-based Systems (KB948465) continues to
fail to update. The program loads properly but then fails once the computer
reboots. I do not get a specific error message either. The systems just
reverts back to its restore point and I have to go through the whole
installation process again. Is anyone else having this issue?
