When I try to install service pack 2 on the machine it fails giving the error
"error_invalid_parameter(0x80070057)"
When looking into this I tried the following.
Download standalone installer and perform the following:
1)Performing a clean boot and retry install - same result
2)Uninstalling antivirus and security programs and retry install - same result
3) Following the steps in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976719/fr (after
translating to english) - same result.
4) reinstall kb972036 and retry install - same result
5) remove kb972036 and retry install - same result
