I bought windows with the computer I have at the moment. I don't think the
specs really matter.

Now yesterday I come back home and notice SP1 is out! So what do I do? I
install it. Amazing fixes, although I notice any.

OK heres my problem.

Windows wants me to activate and when I do press activate it tells me it's
already in use. Hello! I bought this windows for a reason to have NO hassle.
So plz tell me someone knows a way to fix this.

I haven't changed the comps specs other then the soundcard.

Plz help!

You can reset your Windows Vista activation by performing the following:

1. Click on the Start button and in the Start Search box type in: slui.exe 4

2. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

3. Select your Country.

4. Follow the instructions for phone activation.

5. Once completed, restart your computer.

Just follow the instructions and call the number. As long as it's a
legit copy of Vista that you purchased with the computer they will help
you activate it.

Why would you think that buying MS's DRM-riddled OS would give you "NO
hassle?"

You don't want to locked out of your computer due to anti-consumer
technologies? Stay the f*&k away from any MS OS.
