Have an HP Pavilion 9000 with windows vista ultimate 64 bit pre-installed by
HP. Used the complete system backup tool. Now it's time to restore, and you
need the original windows installation disk. HP will not supply the original
disk. Is there another way? For example, they put all of the windows
installation files on the hard drive and on a system recovery DVD.

Hi MMBT83,

You can borrow a friends Express or Retail Vista installation DVD to do
the Restore, or you can press F8 during startup and restore from the
recovery partition.

Go to the HP site and find out how to use their stuff to create a Restore
Disc.
