Hi everyone.
I encountered a really strange problam with my windows updates. I just
formatted the computer and installed a fresh installation of windows vista
ultimate, and the first thing i did was to update the computer. At first it
worked all right but after the first update installation, that i didn't
really pay attention to what went on, the screen is now without writings. All
i see is the graphics and the button but no text, and when i push the button,
it tries to find something but does nothing.
Anyone saw anything like that?
Thanks
Yoni

What problems led you to do "a fresh installation" and how did you do it?

I Reinstalled vista due to the problem of having multiple TaskEng processes.
However, the problem seemed to stop after i installed SP1

And how did you do the reinstall?

Did you install SP1 via Windows Update, manually, or did the machine come
with SP1 preinstalled?

Do your problems persist now?

I've formatted my PC and installed a fresh copy. As for SP1 I downloaded it
manually from the microsoft site. After I installed SP1 the update page
returned to normal and functioning properly.
