What brand of notebook/laptop?

You just need to download the drivers from your computer manufacturer's web
site. The computer manufacturer should have the drivers for their specific
hardware. There are some utilities that do a driver search and find all
relevant drivers for your computer (desktop or laptop such as Driver
Detective. (http://www.drivershq.com/)

Perhaps that particular utility is simply not available for Windows 7.

Otherwise, some of these links may help, as they seem to relate to the same
problem and may present possible solutions:

Also, the first page of Google results for "nvidia Mangement controller:

Hi Dion,

If it works on Vista, the chances are pretty good that it will work on
Windows 7 as well. Many OEMs keep forums for their customers, so you may ask
there. Perhaps someone who has that model already tried to install Windows 7
and is ready to share experience.

Good luck

I upgraded a few days ago. My Nvidia would't open , so I went to Nvidia and
downloaded the latest drivers and everything worked .
