Windows won't load

After installing updates for windows 98 my computer freezes up with the icon
windows. After turning on & off many times computer will work. Next time its
turned off same deal. After 6-7 times it unfreezes.
Any suggestions?

Only suggestion would be to boot to Safe Mode and uninstall the updates
one by one, booting to normal Windows mode in between, to determine
which one is causing the issue. Were any of the updates drivers for
hardware (i.e. video adapter, modem, etc.) ? If so, uninstall that one
first.
When you find which update is at the root of the issue than post back
here with the specific KB number.
