Windows won't run with Service Pack 2

Hello all,
I've been using Service Pack 1 for ages and today decided to update to SP2
as it seems everyone has now. However after downloading and installing fine,
when I went to reboot I got to the login screen, entered my password fine and
as it entered the pc crashed and my system rebooted. This would repeat
everytime I did it; I could never actually get onto the desktop. I did fresh
formats and installs of SP2 three more times but the exact same thing
happened.

Anyone know of any solutions or at least what the problem is?

Hiya Jon I Had The Same Problem And I Had To Have My Computer Stripped And
Reinstalled Do That And I'll Tell You Where You Can Get Sp2 Without Damaging
Your Computer In A Search Engine Type"SP2 Free Download" And Download It From
Somewhere Except Microsoft It Really Works Try It!

Extremely BAD idea.
There are no authorized sources for SP-2 outside of Microsoft.
However there are many sites that redirect to Microsoft and those downloads
actually come from Microsoft.

NEVER get any update or Service Pack from any source other than Microsoft.
