windows wont start after installing sp2!

after downloading sp2 and installing it when i restart my computer i get a
blue screen saying "windows was unable to start.......to protect your
computer from damage it has shut down etc...... or something like that. It
wont start at last known good config. , or it wont start in safe mode or
normally, it just keeps trying to open but gets to the blue screen then
resarts. Ive had to restore all my computer what a bummer that was.. Can
anybody please help me?????
