Windows WP Update

Has anyone had any problems after installing the service pack 2 for XP ? Like
for instance any problems using any messengers? Like yahoo messenger? And if
so whta do you do to remedy the problem?

I havent as yet been able to download service pack 2 of XP, its seems
Microsoft is restricting the ammout of people that can download the file
using the automatic download feature , obiously there isnt enough bandwidth
to cope for everyone.

Reading the forums it seems alot of people are havong problems with
messenger programs, online games and generally any 3rd party product that
connects to the internet, follow the links on the help section and there is a
list of programs and the ports you should be opening with service pack 2 to
enable these programs to work.

Mark, have not upgraded to service pack 2 yet, but am SBC Yahoo customer.
They sent out a note yesterday with a link to a patch. Try this link,
