Windows XP and windows update

I have Windows XP professional.

I can not access windows updates. I get error message
0x80072F8F.

There is no problem with my clock, date or time zone.
I ran regsvr32SOFTPUB.dll. with no success.
I unchecked "check for server certificate revocation"
with no success.

Suggestion:

If the error code 0x80072F8F is posted, the date and the
hour which are reproduced on your computer are perhaps too
different from the valid date and hour of certificates SSL
(Secure Sockets Layer) used by the Web site Windows Update.
Click on start, on run, type timedate.cpl, then click on
OK.
Define the suitable values of date and hour according to
your time zone, then click on OK.
