Windows XP Home Licence

I am planning to upgrade my current version of Windows XP Home on my Dell
laptop with Windows XP Pro. Can I use the Dell laptop Windows XP Home
license on another computer that is now running Windows ME. The other
computer is a HP.

If so, I do not have a Windows Home XP disk because it was pre-installed by
Dell. Can I download the required files from the net and use the Key Code on
the bottom of my laptop?

No. The Dell OEM license is for use only on the Dell computer
it came with. You cannot transfer that OEM license to another
computer under any circumstances.

Please read your End-User License Agreement by going
to Start > Run and type: WINVER , and hit enter. Then
click on "End-User License Agreement".
