From Windows XP Home OEM to Windows Vista

I have a laptop with Windows XP Home OEM edition pre-installed. Can I go buy
Windows Vista and install it anyway, just like an ordinary pc with no OEM OS?

You should be able to buy an upgrade version of Vista, which one depends
on your needs, and it will install.
Click the " Evaluate Your Current PC " link to see what's needed for the
upgrade.

Ofcourse you can.. Microsoft does not impose any restrictions o you instaling
Retail OS on OEM machines
