About five months ago, Geeks on Call installed Service Pak 2 on my computer
in order to install Verizon DSL. (All my software came installed on the
machine).
A week ago, the computer just shuts down. The computer is now looking for a
boot device to restart. I tried using a friends evaluation copy of Serive
Pak 2 to do the restore console. It says that the C: is an invalid path. I
also could not install the evaluation copy. It said that windows was
shutting down in order not to cause damage to the computer.

Any ideas how I should proceed?
