Is anyone having any problems with trying to install updates and an error message stating "The software you are installing has not passed Windows XP Logo testing to verify it's compatibility with Windows XP"? I am wondering if this may be caused by someother program that I might have installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

You need to have a space behind the -h (as the example in MKBA-822798 have):

attrib -s -h %windir%

Hi

Actually, the attrib command did take effect, for attrib, no output
is an indication on that it was successful.

Torgeir, I have attempted to install a secutiry update after trying all of
the options from the page that was provided by your link in the very first
e-mail. Now, once the update starts to install the screen goes blank and
then the computer roboots itself. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
