Windows XP on Mac Intel using Parallel

I just purchased a Mac Intel and am using Parallel to run both a true Mac
environment and a true PC environment. The Mac side runs fantastic, but the
PC side doesn't.

I'm using a true Microsoft Office 2007 applications and it won't recognize
my time zone. When I adjust the Time Zone to CDT and tell it to recognize
Daylight Savings time, it holds it for awhile and then jumps ahead 1 hour.
Seems if I select the right Time Zone and click on the Daylight Savings
button, then it should keep the right time.

On the Mac side, it so simple. Not only does the world graphic "show" you
what time zone you've selected, but it hold the time zone and the daylight
savings to the actual time. And when I follow the same procedure on the
Microsoft side, it doesn't hold.

What gives? I use Microsoft Office 2007 and when I get an appointment, it
messes with the appointment schedule since it doesn't syncronize with the
actual time. If I want to maintain my appointment schedules, then the
Microsoft time shows 1 hour ahead of actual time. If I move it back to the
"real" time, after a few seconds it jumps back to 1 hour ahead of actual time.

Unfortunately I have to work in both worlds. Right now Mac time is accurate,
but Microsoft time is 1 hour ahead of actual time. I've checked for software
updates to see if there's a glitch in the Savings Time programming, but it
shows that my sofware is up-to-date.

What gives?

This post is off-topic for this newsgroup, which is concerned with the
Windows Update function.

Your problem appears to be specific to Parallels - I suggest you post your
problem in a forum concerned with support for Parallels.
