Windows XP Medi Center (Windows Update Failed)

Hi, I tried all the steps that "Ben B [US]" recommended for error code
80200010 but I can not perform the windows update. The last step I tried was
register the DLL's and I received this message when I press enter after the
first line in DOS:
LoadLibrary("%windir%\system32\wuapi.dll")failed - The specified module
could not be found.

I would like to help. I do not know precisely what condition your Windows XP
operating system is in, but let's try this first:

1. Connect to the Internet, and verify that you are connected.
2. Close all Internet browser windows and open email programs
3. Click Start
4. Click Search
5. Choose "All Files and Folders"
6. Choose, in the Advanced Search area, the first 3 checkboxes.
7. In the "File name" area, type: wuident.cab,wuredir.cab
8. Click Search
9. Let this run and identify several matches in the list.
10. Some of the entries are under the "Documents and Settings" folder and have
no size or type. Ignore them.
11. Once the search is complete, click on each one (with a size and type) and
delete them.
12. Close the search window
13. Click Start
14. Click Run
15. Type: cmd <Enter>
16. In the Command Prompt, type: net stop wuauserv <Enter>
17. Type: net stop bits <Enter>
18. Type: net start bits <Enter>
19. Type: net start wuauserv <Enter>
20. When both services have stopped and restarted again, type: exit <enter> to
close the Command Prompt.
21. Open a single Internet Explorer window.
22. Click Tools
23. Click Windows Update
24. If given a choice, choose Custom Install
25. If you see available updates, uncheck all but one of them.
26. Click Install

Thank you Pat, before you send this help, I read in this newsgroup somebody
that had the same problem. He uninstalled the Panda Platinum antivirus 2005,
resatarted the computer and windows updates worked!!!, I did the same and it
worked also. So, I guess the proble was the Panda. I downloaded another Panda
(Titanium) and WU works without uninstalling the Panda antivirus. Thank you
for help!!!
Question: Do you still think I should perform the recommendation you sent?,
