Windows XP mode and .Net

Hello,

I originally posted this message in the .Net groups, but had no luck there.
Perhaps someone here is familiar with this issue.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate. I'd installed the Visual Studio .Net 2003 on the
Virtual PC (Windows XP mode).

If I try to open the project that is located on my main PC, I'm getting a
message:

"The project location is not fully trusted by the .net runtime".

Later I'm unable to save my modified files and compile my application on my
main PC.

I'd found a solution for it:
http://www.acthompson.net/dotnet/set...d_location.htm. I ran the
..Net Configuration Tool and set the trusted location (looks like this:
\\tsclient\K\Inetpub\wwwroot").

Aparently, this doesn't work for virtual machines, I guess the Virtual
machine itself must be configured somehow. But I couldn't find any
information on this.

I would appreciate your help with this very much.

Thank you,

Peter

Did you run the tool in the VM?

Which tool? I'd checked the Settings under Tools, could't find anything
related to this, that's all. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Thank you,

Peter

The "tool" that you linked to, perhaps :-)?

You should run it in the XP guest, not the Windows 7 host.

[At least I would guess so.]

Thank you. Yes, I did run the .Net Configuration tool in the Virtual
machine, not the main PC.
