We have just seen a rash of taskbars on XP Pro machines go black when the
icon in the system trays display there are updates available. These machines
are on SP1, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this and if there is an
answer as to why this is happening. A reboot seems to resolve the issue and
your able to see a few icons in the system tray (windows updates being one of
them) so we can install the updates prior to rebooting.
