Windows XP Professional SP2 Update Failure

I started out using the internet to update with SP2 and my computer during
update froze when it stated (Backing Up Registry). I ordered the CD version
of SP2 and tried to update with it and it again froze when it stated
(Backiing Up Registry). I have removed all of the programs related with the
SP2 and attempted to update several time and it keeps freezing up at (Backing
Up Registry). Does anyone have the same problem and have found the way to
correct this.

I suggest you start out with the SubInAcl.exe tip there and see if
that solves your problem.
