I just bought a new Hp last Friday. Unaware and wasnt' even thinking of
Vista Windows. I brought it home an unpacked it..And there it was Windows
Vista staring me in the face. No books or anything to describe what the
Vista windows will except in software. I've called hp and they have no
answers other than "No, any XP software will not run on your new computer
running Vista Windows." This so microsoft can make more money on everyone
and we all run out to buy "updated versions" for the Windows Vista. I ready
to take my new Hp running Widows Vista back to the store. I so glad I
rebooted my old computer that runs XP on it. I feel more lost than ever now
on this new computer. It's funny how HP and other computer companies have
the new windows Vista on their machines, but no one has clue as to if this
will except the old xp software or anything else. Talking about "Counting
your chickens before they are hatched" The computer companies didn't even
bother to do any testing with Vista Windows software. Just put it in their
new computers and saw the money signs I guess. So far, I'm not happy with
Windows Vista.
