Windows XP RTM Support Message on Windows Update Page

Hi,

Can someone explain the message that appears on the Windows Update site
concerning the Win XP RTM support ending soon? I followed the link to
"Learn More", but I am confused as to what is meant by the Win XP RTM
version support.

Any details would be appreciated.

The "Release To Manufacturing", or first, release. For continued support
you will need SP1, which you have, or SP2.

RTM = Release To Manufacturing = This is Windows XP as it shipped 3 years
ago without any Service Packs.
Support for Windows XP RTM is ending.
If you have Service Pack 1 or 2, this does not apply since you now have
Windows XP SP-1/2 no longer have Windows XP RTM
