windows xp service pack 2 killed my mouse and keyboard drivers.help. I can't
use my mouse. I can barley use my keyboard. I don't know all the keyboard
short cuts.

how can I get find and install the proper drivers??
please HELP. I am lost as to what to do.

Boot into Safe Mode, open Device Manager, delete ALL references to the mouse
and keyboard, reboot and Windows will re-detect the hardware and install the
drivers.

When mine does that I use the windows key, which makes your Start Menu come
up. You can then use the up and down arrows to go to Settings, Control
Panel, and either Mouse Properties or System to install the drivers. That
should do it for you, hopefully. Good Luck
