I read that SP2 will be released as a critical update. Does that mean that
it will be automatically installed if the computer is configured to install
critical updates without any user intervention?

Thanks

Chuck;
Not exactly.
SP-2 is a Critical Update.
If you are set to Automatically Update, SP-2 will be downloaded.
You will need to accept the EULA before it will install.

Seems kinda dumb for Microsoft to throw in any roadblock to
auto-install...

Steve;
Microsoft may not have had a choice.
The legal department at Microsoft probably insisted people agree to
the EULA.

Yes, but I suspect Microsoft's legal department is employed by
Microsoft.

Steve;
True, but in most businesses the legal department card trumps all
others, that is if the business seriously attempts to protect
themselves in our litigating loving society.
