Windows XP SP2 Blue screen after install

Hi I have XP installed and have recently installed SP2 . After install I am
getting boot problems with blue screens, instructions to go into safe mode
and serious windows errors. Here is the error from the event log. Error
code c0000218, parameter1 e1b41e98, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 00000000,
parameter4 00000000.

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem. Worried my installation will
not boot soon if it is not corrected.

I was getting this too on my XPpro machine w/SP2 (XPhome seemed
unaffected). My issue turned out to be AVG virus software, once I
made adjustments to it, the Windows BSOD disappeared.
