I have tried numerous times to install Windows XP SP2 with negative results.
This is my second post regarding this problem, I am frustrated to say the
least!!! I need a simple resolution to this problem if there is one...please.
The installation begins, and before completion I get an error message "Access
Denied". This always occurrs at ,File Name:FXSAP1.DLL. After that the
installation stops with an additional message;SP2 installation did not
complete, Windows XP has been partially updated and may not work properly. Is
there anyone out there with this same exact problem, and have you been able
to solve your problem? I am new to the world of computers, and seriously need
help. I have Windows XP Home Edition Operating System on my PC.

Thanks for the information, but I don't have enough experience to begin to
work with the registry key. In order to see if this solution works, I will
have to have to get help from someone with more knowledge than I do.

Thank you for this solution information, I don't feel very comfortable woking
with the key registry, because I am new to the world of computers. The
KB906845 is not available at this time, therefore I could'nt get information
on enabling verbose logging on Windows XP based computers.
