Are you upgrading To SP2 or just installing regular updates on a machine
already running SP2. The difference is that SP2 can cause compatibility
problems and the such with certain programs, which Microsoft does list in the
Knowledge base (sorry I don't have the link right now, just search for it).
Also, sometimes the updates in general for XP have little quirks that cause
problems with various things, depending on what the update is meant to do. I
just posted a problem a few threads back that mentions one of the more
serious problems that can result from a bad update.
