My system is completely wrecked right now and I've been trying to figure out
the cause and hopefully a solution! I'm running XP SP3, and mysteriously
sometime just before my big "crash", (which has rendered my .exe files
worthless, caused my start menu and all of its programs to vanish, and
numerous other nightmares...) i happened to notice the .Net Framework 3.0 in
my program list... which I'm certain I didn't "knowingly" install myself.
Could this have somehow had something to do with my issues? I also had just
swithched my antivirus from AVG to Avira AntiVir, about 5 days prior. Also
and STILL, no new viruses have YET to be detected. Someone please let me know
if any of this sounds familiar! And finally, does anyone know how I can
possibly delete, reinstall, uninstall, repair, or install new...? when its
impossible to run an .exe?
