then use the new CD to upgrade with.
Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming

| Hi everyone,
|
| I just bought a new laptop that has windows xp home edition 2002 sp2, I have
| the windows xp upgrade software from home to professional but it only has
| service pack 1. When I tried to run the upgrade I get an error message that
| says it can't continue because the version on my laptop is more recent than
| the one on the cd. The question is..... Am I screwed ? the upgrade cost me a
| bundle and now I can't install it on my laptop, is there a work around ? I
| defenitely don't want to spend more money buying another upgrade only because
| the service packs are different.
|
| Any help will be greately appreciated.
