Windows Xp on Virtual PC is very slow

I have got a Celeron 2,4 Ghz with 256 mb ram with
windows xp.
I have installated a windows xp on virtual pc but it is
very slow. the memory for the virtual machine is 140 Mb.

Help!

Make sure that you have the Virtual Machine Additions installed.
