I've had prior problems at a client site with ISA server which (so far) I've
been able to work around by adding the update sites to the proxy exception
list and/or trusted sites. These were primarily for 80072F78 errors.
Now I'm trying to do updates at a client site running Proxy 2.0.
User outbound access is enabled in Winsock proxy for both port 80 and port
443.
The recommended update sites have been entered in both Trusted Sites and
Proxy Exceptions.
I've run through all the procedures I could find that applied in the
Windowsupdate FAQ.
I'm trying to select custom updates and I'm STILL getting 8024402C errors.
Has Microsoft done something with Windowsupdate that makes it incompatible
with Proxy 2.0?
If not, are there any recommendations other than what's already in the FAQs?
