windowsupdate doesn't work through proxy

Hi,

I have a problem in the windowsupdate through proxy.
I saw the below error in windowsupdate.log
The file was not downloaded and update was failed.

Could I have any advise or idea to fix this problem?

(1) error 0x80072f76

Turn off Zone Alarm Pro, Norton's Firewall, etc., activate Windows firewall, and try again.
Turn off any Dial Up Accelerator, such as NetZero, HiSpeed, Speedband etc., and try again.

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Internet Options, Security Tab.
Update the Trusted Sites Zone by adding the Windows Update Web Address,
and reduce the Security Level in the Trusted Sites Zone to Low.

Update. Open a command prompt window and type the command

What version of Windows and which service pack level? If you have BITS, you
should have proxycfg

I suggest you seek help from a Vista expert forum: I've no idea how Vista
accomplishes Windows Update through a proxy if it does not have the proxycfg
command.
