WindowsUpdate-InternetExplorer

Following an automatic update yesterday I have been unable to run Internet
Explorer Browser. MSN Explorer works OK. Any ideas ?

I'd love to know if you find a solution for this. I'm experiencing the same
problem. The latest round of updates broke something vital, causing IE to
crash after or during loading of a single page (especially the Windows Update
page) and Outlook 2003 to crash whenever encountering HTML mail, and worst of
all, crashing the System Restore tool when attempting to start the recovery
wizard.

At this point I'm facing a reinstall of XP.

Anyone found a fix to this.... I've the same problem (Explorer closing early
and Restore not opening) and it's a real pain. Any help will be gratefully
received.
