What's possibly happened is that some of the patches that were previously
installed by SP1 have been superceded, and are no longer correct - and
giving faults with WU. (BTW - was it SP1, or SP1a?)
Try checking out the patch status with Belarc Advisor
www.belarc.com and see
if that comes up with anything useful.
